Job Title: Technical Analyst
Expected Start Date: 08/1/2010
Expected Duration (mo): 18, consultant with option to hire
Rate: Market, salary expectation $90-110K plus bonus
International travel required.
Position Description: Provide technical expertise for the Payroll system. Configure and support Payroll system. Maintain multiple payroll environments. Key customers include I/S application development group, I/S Project Managers, functional users and third party application service providers.
• Provide on-going payroll support for both production and multiple development environments.
• Provide governance for payroll environment standards (e.g., local extensions for legislative functionality, country reporting requirements, backup/recovery standards, disaster recovery strategy, monitoring tools, etc.).
• Manage payroll activities; configure & manage compensation policies & programs, understand, define & implement eligibility rules for compensation, monitor payroll processes end to end, reconcile issues or errors within the payroll system.
• Establishes application security standards. Implements security solutions across the payroll environment.
• Collaborates and consults with I/S business platforms to coordinate the development and deployment of payroll system specific to a country.
• Develop and implement backup/recovery strategy for payroll system. Perform recovery test sessions with vendors.
• Monitor performance of payroll environments. Perform tuning of payroll system when necessary.
• Create and maintain data integrations.
Oracle 12 e-Business Application Support
• Function as Payroll Application System Administrator to provide daily support
• Migrate customized interface codes to various development and production environments
• Provide performance tuning advice to hosting vendor and functional team.
• Produce processes, reports, and other evidence to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and other audit and compliance requirements
• Off hour support required.
People/Relationship Management
• May coordinate the activities of other team members on a specific project assignment.
• Leverages relationships with vendors to implement and support payroll solutions.
• Builds and manages strong relationships with key customers and between teams within I/S, including managing expectations.
Experience Required (years & overall competencies):
6+ years as a Oracle Payroll specialist
6+ years of implementing and supporting Oracle 11i E Business applications, Oracle 10g Application Server and Oracle database
8+ year of technology experience
Experience Preferred:
Knowledge about Oracle iLearning, iRecruitment, Performance Management, Compensation WorkBench a plus.
Converse in Chinese a plus

• General knowledge of SQL Server, Access, VB, ASP, HTML & .NET.
