			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Top tier proprietary electronic trading firm is seeking an exceptional Risk Developer to focus on supporting various facets of risk management.</p>
<p>We are looking for an individual with strong analytical and problem solving skills.  The risk developer will interact with the risk analyst, trading and development to proactively assess and manage risk exposure via reporting, monitoring and analysis.  The primary focus will be to create and maintain databases, reporting and analyses in support of these efforts.  The ability to draw conclusions from data and transform data, both at a detail and big picture level, into actionable information is a must.</p>
<p>To accomplish these goals, strong Java (or strong depth in a modern language), SQL (T-SQL ideally) and ASP.NET skills are a necessity in addition to a mathematical and/or risk background with 2-5 years of experience.  Previous risk experience and /or experience working with large data sets also required.</p>
<p>The successful candidate will have strong communication skills and demonstrated success working in a team environment by engaging in vigorous debate, treating fellow associates with respect, and the use of critical thinking skills.</p>

<div>Position description: provide technical expertise and leadership for the Oracle Environment database area.  Design, implement and maintain complex database environments and structures. Key customers include I/S application development group, I/S Project Managers, functional users and third party application service providers.</div>

<div>Database Environment</div>
<div id="_mcePaste">•	Provide on-going database support for both Production and multiple development environments, including environment backup/recovery, monitoring, database availability, application processes, future capacity planning and etc</div>
<div id="_mcePaste">•	Design and architect physical database environments. Ensures that the new/changed environment adheres to the enterprise-wide database global architecture.</div>
<div id="_mcePaste">•	Plan, coordinate and implement multiple database related tools, including identifying the database version, the firewall ports, the hardware requirements and the support strategy needed</div>
<div id="_mcePaste">•	Perform application and database clone as needed</div>
